The original fireplace was removed and a new marble fireplace with a high effeciency inset gas fire fitted. As the new fireplace was smaller than the one removed the chimney breast was patch plastered back to its original condition ready for re-decorating. Click on an image for an expanded view.
Limestone Fireplace with an inset electric fire
The original fireplace was removed and replaced with a beautiful limestone fireplace with an inset electric fire. The complete chimney breast was plastered in order for the customer to have a crisp fresh painted finish.
Scandinavian Style Fireplace and Chimney Breast
The customers brief was to create a Scandinavian style chimney breast with a fireplace opening as a focal point for displaying flowers. Pictures show how a previously un-usable fireplace opening has been cleverly brought to life by fitting a gas stove with an offset flue pipe.
